Complete, with any repairs disclosed
Tell us about any repairs, upgrades or replaced parts: we assess these individually. Devices must be complete. In practice:
- Complete. No missing screws, panels, keys, memory, drives, batteries or other components, and nothing removed for spares.
- Official repairs are fine to tell us about. A manufacturer-authorised repair, such as an official battery replacement, does not automatically rule a device out.
- Upgrades are fine if disclosed. Memory or SSD upgrades in a laptop are acceptable if they are properly fitted and the laptop is complete.
- What we decline. Repairs that were not disclosed, poor-quality repair work, and devices with missing components.
Normal wear is not a problem. Scratches, scuffs, a shiny keyboard, a small dent or a cracked screen are all things we expect to see on used devices. Just describe them and show them in your photos.
Desktop PCs. Complete custom builds and upgraded PCs are welcome. Tell us the specification as it is now and send photos. We decline stripped, partly dismantled or poorly repaired systems, and review any disclosed repairs individually.
If you are not sure how your device fits, send it through the form and tell us what you know. We read every request.
